摘要:
Chinese medicine therapies are increasingly used to treat psoriasis vulgaris, and a significant number of clinical studies have been conducted. Current conventional therapies are effective for psoriasis symptoms but usually do not cure the disease and may cause unwanted side effects with long-term use. Therefore, Chinese medicine is of significant value. Findings from clinical evidence revealed promising benefit of oral and topical Chinese herbal medicine, while evidence is lacking for acupuncture therapies and other Chinese medicine therapies. This chapter provides a 'wholeevidence' analysis in investigating Chinese medicine for the management of psoriasis vulgaris.
