摘要:
In Chinese medicine (CM), psoriasis vulgaris is considered to develop as a result of failure of the nourishing and cooling functions of Blood. Causes include emotional disturbance leading to qi stagnation and then Blood heat, external or internal wind leading to dryness, and long-term heat in the Blood leading to Blood stasis. Syndrome differentiation is used to guide treatment, with various options including Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture therapies. This chapter describes the key Chinese medicine syndromes seen in psoriasis vulgaris. Treatments are described based on key clinical texts and practice guidelines, and include Chinese herbal medicine (CHM), acupuncture and related therapies, and dietary and lifestyle advice.
