摘要:
The study aimed to analyze the application of echocardiography information technology in the investigation of infective endocarditis (IE), and discuss the central neurological complications in IE patients. 78 patients with infective endocarditis who were treated in our hospital were selected as the research subjects. Their prevalence was classified and summarized, such as clinical manifestations, whether there is a history of heart disease, heart disease treatment, echocardiographic performance, and patient outcomes. Besides, the clinical features of neurological complications were analyzed. The results showed that in echocardiography, 74 cases of cardiac neoplasms were detected, and 61 cases of left cardiac neoplasms were detected. 25 cases involving aortic valve and 33 cases involving the mitral valve were detected. 3 cases involving both aortic and mitral valves were detected. 13 cases of right cardiac neoplasms were detected, of which 10 cases involving tricuspid valve were detected. 2 cases of right ventricular surface involving ventricular septal defect were detected, and one case was detected with the pulmonary valve. There were 16 (20.5%) IE patients with neurological complications. Cerebral infarction is the most common neurological complication, and the most frequently involved valve is the aortic valve. In conclusion, echocardiography can detect the heart state of patients well, and it is greatly significant for the diagnosis of patients with infective endocarditis. Neurological complications are more common in IE patients, most of which are cerebral infarction, mainly caused by the loss of neoplastic aortic valve. Copyright © 2020. Published by Elsevier B.V.
