EMS is a kind of difficult gynaecology disease, and the incidence of which rises year by year. It behaves mostly on various kinds of pain, infertile of pelvises. The mechanism of EMS is not clear, the theory of plantation of menstrual bloody backwashed is abroad accepted at present. That endometrium can be ectropicalloy planted is the key pathogeny under the affections of many kinds of factors. So to discuss the ectropic endometrium's implantation mechanism is important to explain the EMS pathogeny. The researches showed the most sources of ectropic endometrium invasion potency are the continuous reconstruction of extracellular matrix and the function of matrix metalloproteinases, and also guessed it has important significance on EMS's pathogeny and procession of transferred to the outside of uterus. Life sciences and multi-disciplinary's cooperation will find a clue to the mystery of this difficult disease of EMS finally.
